The Asia Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore, with approximately 2000 employees.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Allocator for our Hume Road facility in Laverton North.  Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will participate in the daily operation and efficient functioning of Transport, through the allocation and scheduling of trucks as per customer requirements. In addition, you'll also provide effective service to all customers in the most professional manner. 

Key KPIs/deliverables include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieve TRIFR <5 and LTIFR <1
  • Accurate data entry to support planning, allocating and KPI reporting.
  • Ensure sub-contractors are compliant under CoR rules and regulations.
  • Manage the schedule (hours) and load weights during fleet allocation to maximise Transport CoR performance.
  • Ensure Transport cost % is to revenue of 70% (through fleet utilisation and allocation)
  • Ensure there are minimal customer service contractual issues (quality) related to Transport performance (less than 5 per year)
  • Ensure customer queries and complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  • Liaise with the operations team and Site Leaders

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in a similar role (industry experience is preferable).
  • Excellent understanding of CoR principles (NHVLR, Mass/Fatigue Management).
  • Excellent understanding of transport routing in the metropolitan and regional areas.
  • Experience with managing customer relationships and resolution of issues.
  • Good understanding of Retail DC receival operations.
  • Relevant industry experience and understanding of refrigerated palletised freight (not essential).
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures.
