The Asia Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore, with approximately 2000 employees.
As we continue our transformation and growth journey, we are now looking to appoint a Facilities Manager for our Laverton facility in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager, the primary focus of your role will be to monitor, service and maintain building, plant and engineering equipment to meet legal & compliance requirements as well as health & safety standards.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reporting all major faults, incidents, hazards and near misses.
- Adhering to and working in accordance with Company Risk Management and OH&S manuals.
- Diagnosis and root cause analysis of faults and breakdowns.
- Undertaking repairs or component replacements as required.
- Ensuring any plant or equipment impairments are logged if results in more than 24-hour isolation.
- Maintaining operational requirements - MHE, racking, docks, refrigeration plant temperature monitoring and logs, buildings and grounds.
- Complying with all reporting requirements including weekly work reports, monthly water and electricity readings.
- Ensuring preventative maintenances are scheduled and documented using the MEX software system.
- Support a small team of Mechanical Electrical Trades and Trades Assistants.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Experience in a similar role and industry.
- Qualifications in either trade, safety or engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience supporting a small team.
- Strong safety and customer service track record.
- Experience with MEX (Maintenance Management Software) or similar systems/applications.
- Strong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality and legality issues.
- A current and valid driver's licence.
