The Hannaford Centre Coordinator is responsible for a venue for community use, community programs and activities that support community learning, lifestyle and leisure for older residents in the Leichhardt local government area. Work with the team composed of staff, volunteers and tutors. Enjoy varied work at the beautifully renovated Hannaford Centre based in Rozelle.
Salary
$63,487 - $70,078 per annum (pro rata) + super. Temporary up to 12 months.

Requirements
1. Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences or a related discipline
2. Demonstrated experience in the successful application of community building strategies and programs
3. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing programs and events within a community centre and capacity to adapt to changing work environments and demands
4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and autonomously without direct supervision
5. Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and volunteers and the ability to create a supportive team environment and maintain a customer service ethos
6. Demonstrated highly effective written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated conflict resolution skills
7. Demonstrated ability to undertake effective community engagement through consulting, informing and involving community stakeholders
8. Demonstrated attention to detail and capacity to administer venue scheduling and hiring processes including:
- Hiring agreements
- Income and receipting
- Reconciliation of one-off and regular payments
9. Demonstrated ability to manage daily operations in a community facility including:
- Risk management
- WH&S
- Repairs and maintenance
- Ordering and receipting goods and services
10. A current unrestricted Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
11. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Software and similar programs
12. Knowledge and understanding with a commitment to implement EEO & WH&S principles
