Plant Operator - Parks and Reserves

We are seeking two Plant Operators to join our Parks and Reserves Team. As a Plant Operator you will  be responsible for delivering and undertaking maintenance activities within the Parks and Reserves section.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Be an effective communicator
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Have experience in the operation of plant
  • Contribute to the review of WH&S and environmental practices and procedures

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

This role offers the opportunity for you to be part of a competent, high performance team, along with opportunities for ongoing training. We offer a salary starting at $54,228 to $69,492 gross per annum plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
