Council is seeking a Town Planner to join the Planning and Regulation Team. Reporting to the Manager Planning and Regulation you will have opportunities to work on a range of projects. You will be responsible for processing the Development Applications, Section 4.55 and Section 8.2 Applications, including major/significant applications, in accordance with statutory requirements and Council’s codes and policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing Development Applications
- Providing written and verbal advice regarding land use, zoning, planning legislation, and Council’s policies and procedures.
- Representing Council in meetings with developers and their representatives regarding development proposals and preparation of development applications and planning proposals.
