Join us in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of water services to the Liverpool Plains Shire community.

As a Water Services Operator you will be responsible for operating and monitoring Council’s water treatment plant and network operations. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a small team to deliver reliable and compliant water services by applying your skills, knowledge and experience.

ABOUT US

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

Water Services Operator we offer a salary starting at $61,885 to $79,216 gross per annum plus superannuation. In addition, a retention allowance will be considered for the right applicant and based upon your experience, skills and qualifications.

This role you will be required to work a 7-day spread of hours, on call roster and perform overtime duties (as required). Award loadings and allowances will apply in addition to the base weekly salary.
