Account Manager 

We currently have a great opportunity for an Account Manager professional to join our linen team, servicing our hospitality customers in NSW and ACT. The Account Manager will be required to travel on a regular basis to visit customers.

North Rocks Laundry is part of Linen Service Australia the largest textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia. Our Linen Laundry plants manage the Textile and Laundry requirements of customers in the Healthcare, Accommodation, Hospitality and Aged Care Sectors.

Reporting to the General Manager Linen Services Australia – NSW/ACT and working with the operations team at the North Rocks Laundry a training and development plan will be developed for the successful candidate to transition them into this exciting and challenging role.

Duties

  • Meets the needs of customers and acts with customers in mind
  • Makes improvements based on customer feedback
  • Meeting regularly with our major customers and ensuring their changing environment is managed and their expectations are exceeded
  • Regular Joint Service Reviews (JSR) meetings are held with each major customer and logged in a CRM database
  • Primary point of contact for several Linen Services Australia customers
  • Build and maintain good rapport and customer relations ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Promote and sell new products to existing customers and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within your territory

Skills experience

  • Excellent account management experience within a service driven business
  • Strong work ethic, time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to show initiative and demonstrate good judgement
  • An outgoing, friendly and approachable nature with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach and positive attitude
