Laundry Worker - North Rocks Laundry
North Rocks Laundry is part of Linen Service Australia the largest linen and textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia.
Our Linen Laundry plants manage the textile and laundry requirements of customers in the essential services of healthcare and aged care together with the hospitality and accommodation sectors.
We have full-time, part-time and casual opportunities on our afternoon shift which operates 2pm - 10pm.
Duties
- Sorting through soiled and dirty linen from hospitals, restaurants, aged care facilities
- Processing of linen
- Fast paced production work
- Machine Operating
- Repetitive tasks
- Labour intensive work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Following safe work procedures
Skills experience
- Can do attitude
- Willingness to be part of our safety culture
- Good Fitness Level with the ability to lift 5kg - 15kg repetitively
- Flexibility
- Team player comfortable working in a multicultural workforce
- Ability to read and understand instructions and apply the information to your work
