The Role
• Key member of the maintenance team
• Maintain plant and equipment at a busy industrial laundry
• As a key member of our maintenance team you would be responsible for maintaining the site plant and equipment, e.g. Mechanical maintenance of industrial washing machines, dryers, conveyors, ironers, and folding machines.
• Opportunity to work weekends
About You:
• Qualified trade recognised Fitter
• Knowledge and application of WHS requirements
• Proven experience in the relevant sectors of the facilities maintenance
• Industrial Fault-Finding skills and experience
• Industrial Maintenance skills and experience
• Manufacturing or processing industries experience
• Mechanical Installation skills and experience
• Engineering Drawing interpretation and Understanding
• Effective Communication skills
• Good team player with the ability to build productive working relationships
There will be a preference for candidates who have
• Industrial Laundry Experience or similar FMCG
• Boiler Intermediate HRWL
• Confined Spaces Entry (or willingness to obtain)
• High risk work licences - Elevated Work Platform/Working at Heights
• The ability to read Pneumatic and Hydraulic Schematics
• A knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems
• PLC experience
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics installation, maintenance and fault-finding skills and experience.
