General Manager - WA Linen

GENERAL MANAGER - LINEN WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Linen Services Australia is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Western Australian General Manager to manage the Linen operations of the business in WA.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to utilise their experience to help develop and grow this market leader in WA.

Linen Services Australia operates the largest Linen and laundry operations across Australia and New Zealand.  This role, reporting directly to the COO, will provide strong leadership and direct operational management in WA of all aspects of the linen business and based at the processing facility at Murdoch in Perth.

The position will specifically:

• Have skills in managing employees, their expectations and requirements, including the training and continual improvement of employees
• Oversee the minimisation of Safety and Risk within the Western Australian business and manage the reporting and investigation of all incidents occurring in the region and the associated process of any injury management
• Manage the daily, weekly and monthly financial performance of the business unit, including reporting discrepancies and using the information to continually improve the performance of the business
• Ensure that the customer experience for all exiting customers is maintained and improved, including personally managing the relationship with major customers
• Drive the growth of the business through securing new customers and introducing new products to existing customers
• Directly manage the laundry processing of the business, including optimizing rosters and staffing levels, adjusting and improving production scheduling to ensure processed linens are available and delivered in full on time at the required level of quality
• Oversee and manage the maintenance of the equipment to maximise availability and ensuring all preventative maintenance is completed to schedule
• Manage and maintain the systems associated with the business
• Remuneration, inclusive of bonus, will be in line with the seniority of this position.
