Experienced Finance Business Analyst required to act as a business partner to the Executive Management Team and support the evaluation of potential development projects.

In this role, you will build and manage financial models (mainly business plans) to evaluate potential new stores, store refurbishments, lease renewals and M&A projects and present the analysis to both the local and global Corporate (Paris-based) Executive Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage business plans and financial models to evaluate the economics and risk of projects
  • Provide sound financial analysis & recommendations
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to assist the delivery of strategic projects
  • Pro-actively investigate performance issues
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with management teams & key stakeholders
  • Assist the development of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts
  • Capex & airport traffic reporting
  • Preparation of reports, presentations and analysis
  • Other projects as required

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce or related discipline
  • 5 years' financial analyst experience ideally in retail environment
  • Experience in month/year end reporting, annual budgets and forecasts
  • Experience in building & managing financial models and business plans
  • Advanced competency in MS Excel and accounting packages
  • Experience using Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Cognos/TM1) or similar
  • Highly analytical approach with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to challenge, document, benchmark and support all assumptions
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
