About the Roles

We are looking for Packing Operators to join the team based in our Liverpool industrial bakery. in this role you will support the Team Leader on the production and packaging lines ensuring best practice and standards.

Multiple full-time and casual positions are available. 

For full time positions the expected shifts are of 8h between 11am and 10pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up & inspecting machinery to ensure efficient start up and smooth operation
• Checking and adjusting various parts for proper alignment, rotation, etc.
• Weighing and adding proper amount of ingredients to mixer at appropriate times.
• Operation of mixing machinery and safety checks.
• Ensuring product quality is always within specification and make adjustments to achieve highest quality within specified parameters.
• Conducting routine line inspections to address potential food safety and quality risks/concerns

Selection Criteria (in general):

• Ideally Qualified machine operator or Minimum 2 years of Food Manufacturing experience.
• Level of physical fitness and resilience; able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Effective communication – written and oral
• Understanding and application of all safety procedures
• Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with own initiative
• Ability to work tight timescales and in a fast paced production environment whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
