Risk and Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Risk and Quality Management leader to join our team at Multicap Head Office in Eight Mile Plains.
This full-time position is responsible for coordinating the process to identify and respond to enterprise risk and provide expert guidance and support to leaders to ensure regulatory obligations are met. The role will also ensure implementation and on-going management of the Quality Management Framework to ensure practice excellence and continuous improvement.
Your new role will:
- Develop and deliver training for leaders in the areas of Risk and Quality Management, including systems, procedures, and legislation.
- Maintain a Quality Control and Risk Register within RISKMAN©, to monitor, analyse trends, report to senior leaders and set corrective actions for improvement.
- Partner with key stakeholders in the implementation of strategic initiatives to continuously improve our customer experience and safeguarding.
- Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and assure organisational compliance, including adherence to the NDIS Safeguarding Framework.
- Coordinate enterprise strategic and operational risk reviews with stakeholders and monitoring of corrective actions.
- Coordinate the internal and external auditing program, to monitor performance and coordinate actions on a continuing basis and build leadership capability of this process.
- Support the design and implementation of policies and processes to ensure legislative compliance and to reflect current operational practice standards.
- Proactively look for opportunities to resolve risk and system weaknesses and strive to be the ‘go to’ person for enhancing quality of supports, minimising risk to the business.
What you bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and several years’ experience in the Risk and Quality Management fields
- Experience within the Disability &/or Community Services sectors
- Articulate communicator, with well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative working style with the ability to influence and foster positive functional relationships
- Strong analytical ability, with the inherent skills to identify and report on trends
- Ability to identify and develop process and system improvements
