Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Following the movement of staff throughout our secondary school, we’re looking for two additional Teachers to join us for the start of the 2026 school year.
- Teacher Business (Years 7 – 10) and HPE
- Mathematics/Science teacher (Maths Years 7-12 and Science Years 7-9)
Teachers at Marist are also required to teach Religious Education. Applicants with these relevant qualifications would be favourably considered.
Essential Selection Criteria:
1. Commitment to pastoral care of students
2. Awareness and understanding of boys’ education theories and strategies
3. Substantial knowledge and experience of curriculum initiatives and development in education
4. High degree of discretion, initiative and personal organisation in the execution of
responsibilities and duties
5. Flexibility and resourcefulness in working with a variety of staff members
6. Ability to work collaboratively with teams to enhance the College’s identity as a Catholic School in the Marist tradition

The Recruitment Process
Applications close 4:00pm on Friday 14 November 2025.
If your application is accepted for the next stage, you will be invited to attend an interview.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an Interview on a day shortly after the closing date.
All candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process.
