Marist College Ashgrove, located in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs, is a distinguished Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12. The College is seeking a suitably qualified and committed Physical Education & Religious Education Teacher, who has a passion for teaching and working as part of an energetic team committed to excellence in the classroom.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for Semester 2, 2026.
The College also welcomes applications from teachers interested in joining our casual relief pool, which provides opportunities for day-to-day supply work as well as consideration for future fixed-term roles.
Essential Selection Criteria:
1. Commitment to pastoral care of students
2. Awareness and understanding of boys’ education theories and strategies
3. Substantial knowledge and experience of curriculum initiatives and development in education
4. High degree of discretion, initiative and personal organisation in the execution of
responsibilities and duties
5. Flexibility and resourcefulness in working with a variety of staff members
6. Ability to work collaboratively with teams to enhance the College’s identity as a Catholic School in the Marist tradition
