PRIMARY TEACHER
Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Inspired by the work of St Marcellin Champagnat, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent academic and career pathway results for our inclusive community of students.
The College is seeking a suitably qualified and committed Primary Teacher to join our vibrant Primary School community.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about inspiring young learners and making a lasting impact in the lives of our Marist students. The position is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 12 months (maternity leave cover), with the possibility of an extension.
The College also welcomes applications from teachers interested in being considered for future fixed-term or permanent teaching opportunities within our Primary School.
Selection Criteria
1. Commitment to pastoral care of students
2. Awareness and understanding of boys’ education theories and strategies
3. Substantial knowledge and experience of curriculum initiatives and development in education
4. Ability to work collaboratively with teams to enhance the College’s identity as a Catholic School in the Marist tradition
Teachers at Marist College are required to teach Religious Education. Applicants with these relevant qualifications would be favourably considered.
