The role

Are you a strategic HR professional with a passion for partnering with business units to drive organisational success? Join us as a Human Resources Business Partner and play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace, supporting leaders, and delivering impactful HR initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager Organisational Strategy and People, this role partners with designated business units to provide HR expertise that aligns with Council’s goals. You will work closely with business units to deliver HR guidance that directly supports divisional objectives and aligns with Council’s broader strategic goals.

By partnering strategically, you will ensure that HR initiatives are tailored to the specific needs of each unit, contributing to an integrated and cohesive organisational approach.

A vital aspect of this role is acting as a bridge between HR and the divisions, facilitating clear and reliable communication. You will provide consistent advice, ensuring that both HR policies and divisional goals are understood and well-integrated to help achieve desired outcomes across the organisation.

Salary: Commencing salary circa $105,000 p.a. plus superannuation.

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
