The Role
We are seeking a qualified civil engineer to join our Operations South Department. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of internal operations projects, working closely with our project delivery team. You will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service for the local community.
What You'll Bring

A degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

Strong understanding of legislation and regulations within the civil industry

Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Willingness to travel across the Local Government Area (Stroud, Bulahdelah, Tea Gardens, and Forster/Tuncurry)

Salary: Commencing salary circa $91,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
A vehicle arrangement will be made with the successful candidate for this role. Council will provide you with a leaseback vehicle for an annual fee calculated as 20% of the gross purchase price. This is a fully maintained vehicle for both business and full private use with no additional expenses in normal use.
Location: This position will be based at our Tuncurry Works depot located on Grey Gum Road, Tuncurry. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites within the Operations South Department and across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
