The role

Are you a people person with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? This newly created, dynamic role will see you as the friendly face assisting at our Manning Entertainment Centre and Manning Regional Art Gallery. Duties will include working at our box office, helping customers with ticket purchases, hosting events & bar duties. With fantastic front-of-house skills, you’ll engage with the community, handle financial transactions, and find solutions for booking-related challenges. Whether assisting during quieter times or stepping into the lively atmosphere at showtime, you’ll thrive in a role that combines regular box office duties with exciting opportunities to work in our Ovations bar and support shows and exhibitions across our cultural venues.

Remuneration:  $30.72 p/hour plus superannuation 

 Tenure

  • Permanent part-time 15 hours per week - Tuesday 9am to 1pm, Wednesday 9am to 1pm, Thursday 10am to 2pm, Friday 10am to 1pm 
  • Additional hours to facilitate events will be required on a rostered basis across 7 days.

What you'll bring

We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate customer service professionals for this position, who have a genuine interest in the arts and entertainment industry, along with strong administrative and cash handling skills to support front-of-house operations effectively. Flexibility to work additional hours during shows and events required. The successful candidates will require a Working with Children Check and Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (RSA).

Location: These positions are based at the Manning Entertainment Centre, 33 Manning River Drive, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
