The role & you

We’re looking for someone to step into the role of Team Leader Cemetery Operations on a full-time basis.  In this role, you’ll be working alongside the team on day-to-day cemetery operations, including excavator work, coordinating tasks, maintaining equipment, reporting issues, and making sure WHS and environmental requirements are followed.

We’re looking for someone with a background in cemetery operations and/or open space maintenance. Strong excavator skills are essential, along with a willingness to support cemetery operations at Forster/Tuncurry and surrounding areas. You’ll also bring the ability to motivate others, work collaboratively, and lead by example.

Salary: Commencing salary circa $65,918 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience). 

Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Depot located at Grey Gum Road, Tuncurry. You will be required to work from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.

Closing date: Wednesday 15 October at 11.30 pm.
