About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Process Operator (including Reticulation) to help operate and maintain our water and sewer networks and treatment plants. This dynamic role involves:

Planned and reactive maintenance of water/sewer systems

Operating treatment plants and ensuring compliance with standards

Supporting the delivery of safe, reliable water services to the community
-
Participating in a 24/7 rotating on-call roster (including weekends and public holidays)
What You’ll Bring
You’ll be someone who takes pride in practical, hands-on work and thrives in a team environment. With your mechanical aptitude and solid experience in water operations (including reticulation), you’ll be ready to hit the ground running.
Selection Criteria:

Certificate III in Water Industry Operations and/or relevant trade qualification

Experience in water, sewerage, or industrial process industries
-
Willingness and ability to be part of a 24/7 on-call roster
Desirable (or willingness to obtain):

Certificate III in Water Industry Treatment

General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
-
Current First Aid Certificate
-
Confined Spaces Entry Certificate
-
MR Truck Licence
-
NSW Health Fluoride Training Ticket

Salary: Base salary $65,918 p.a. (commencing salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate depending on qualifications, skills and experience)
An allowance of $133.61 per week will also apply. (water allowance)
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Depot located at Gloucester. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
