The role & you

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the consistent use and ongoing development of Council’s systems. You will be at the forefront of reviewing existing practices, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with staff across the organisation to demonstrate and realise the full benefits of the system.

In this role, you will work closely with business units to understand and analyse their requirements, provide technical expertise, and develop clear specifications for system enhancements. You will review current processes, identify areas for improvement, and support the implementation of change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption. Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams will be key to driving the continuous development of Technology One modules, including ECR and Property and Rating. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience with Technology One software, particularly ECR, Property and Rating, is highly regarded

  • Strong business and systems analyst experience with proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Knowledge or experience in Local Government Rating is highly desired

  • Demonstrated success in change management and fostering collaboration within teams

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and work effectively as part of a team

  • Passion for working with systems and driving continuous improvement

Salary: Commencing salary circa $85,000 p.a. - $94,000 p.a. pro rated, plus superannuation (commencing salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate depending on qualifications, skills and experience)   

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time
