The role

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, get your hands dirty and make a real impact on services that strengthen the local community.

The Team Member Labourer is responsible for undertaking manual labouring tasks in relation to roads, bridges and drainage, including traffic control duties.

To be a successful candidate you will require a minimum Class C drivers licence and a WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card (White Card). You must also hold (or be willing to obtain) a First Aid Certificate, Traffic Controller’s Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans Card.

Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check (this will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component)

The package: Commencing salary package range circa $53,985  to $59,384 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable bsed on skills and experience).

Location: Your normal place of work will be the Gloucester Depot located on Oak Street, Gloucester 2422. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
