Band 6 - Salary Range $95,073 to $103,531 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO

Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity

This role provides an opportunity to work in a supportive environment as you develop and hone your planning skills. As part of a large team of planners, you will have the opportunity to work on management of Infrastructure Contribution Plans and their vital projects and have direct input to bring life into the creation of community assets in the growth areas of Melton. There is also the opportunity to contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Public Infrastructure Plans (PIPs) for consistency with planning permit conditions and DCP/ICP infrastructure obligations.
  • Provide support for project management for DCP/ICP Infrastructure projects.
  • Review DC / IC / Public Open Space Schedules and liaise with clients.
  • Provide support for reporting obligations in delivery of DCP/ICP Infrastructure projects.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Project Management, Economics, Financial Accounting, Social Planning or related discipline with relevant experience in this field.
  • Prior experience of the application of Development Contribution Plans and their operation is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian planning legislation and regulations, including relevant state and territory planning acts, policies, and guidelines.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
