Band 6 - Salary Range $95,073 to $103,531 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO

Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Team Leader – Learning, you will be responsible for partnering with staff and people leaders to develop engaging, interactive and self-paced eLearning and in-person programs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of training, manage the performance development plan cycle, preparation and management of learning resources, management of the learning management system (LMS), monthly reporting, attend to L&D helpdesk queries and create and maintain the annual training calendar.

This is a 9-month fixed term parental leave position commencing in November 2024. We also offer flexible Ways of Working including a hybrid model of working from home and on location at the Melton Civic Centre. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of Transformation and People & Safety internal training, awareness and development sessions and programs
  • Oversee the corporate development function within the organisation including scheduling workshops, preparing training resources and managing attendance as well and administering pre and post training activities.
  • Maintain the Induction Framework within Council including the facilitation of Corporate Induction sessions.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • A tertiary qualification in Training & Assessment, Human Resources or related field and experience in delivery of learning and development in a multi-faceted organisation.
  • Experience contributing as a member of a high functioning team, and as a partner and enabler of organisational development.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating successful training and development programs, along with experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.
  • A passion for lifelong learning, supporting individuals in their professional and personal development and wellbeing.
