Band 4 - Salary Range $72,119 to $76,460 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO
Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a person to use their technical experience in the engineering field and to develop a broad skill set in a rapidly expanding Council environment.
You will be a member of the Engineering Services team and reporting to the Design & Investigations Coordinator. You will be assisting and supporting the day to day operational and administrative functions of the Design & Investigations team
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and administering Councils Consent to work within the road reserve process.
- Administer Council’s Public Lighting responsibilities including reporting public lighting faults, procuring non-standard street lighting components and organising new light installs for Council’s capital works program.
- Processing and administering Councils Build over Easement process.
- Schedule and conduct Variation to Crossover inspections to meet Council policies and procedures.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Post-secondary qualifications with some relevant technical experience in an engineering environment.
- Computer literacy in the use of Microsoft Office products and GIS software.
- Understanding of the principles of engineering design, construction and maintenance techniques in relation to roads and drainage assets in a local government environment.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
