Melton City Council has an effective Audit and Risk Committee which assists Council with fulfilling its governance and overseeing responsibilities, ethical practices and accountability requirements.
Melton City Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons to join its Audit and Risk Committee as an external member.
The Audit and Risk Committee Charter can be located on Council’s website. Committee membership comprises of two Councillors, plus three external members, one of whom is appointed as the Chairperson of the Committee. The appointment will be for a three year term, and will commence on 1st January 2022.
The external member should preferably have Risk Management, Audit, Legal or Financial Management skills and/or qualifications.
