About the role
An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Aquatics, Leisure and Community venues Unit in a key leadership role. This is temporary backfill role while there are same vacancies due to secondments and leave arrangements.
The Aquatic and Leisure Services Officer is responsible for the coordination, monitoring, review of contract performance and service agreements between Council and the YMCA who manage Councils 6 x Aquatic and Leisure Centres. This role is critical in helping to ensure expected levels of service delivery, presentation and performance are achieved in accordance with agreed criteria and key performance indicators.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who can continue with the:
- Contract monitoring and performance
- Facility audits and inspections
- Program and services support
- Maintenance and capital works planning and delivery
Skills and experience required to perform the role
- Proficiency in the application of standardised procedures, practices, Acts, Regulations and Guidelines.
- Demonstrated achievement in performance monitoring including the development, implementation and evaluation of contract management and administration.
- Developed skills in the use of computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office suite) with advanced knowledge of IT applications
