- 2 days 9am - 4:00pm
- 2 days 9am - 3:45pm

About the role
Merri-bek City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Officer to join our Finance team. Our revenue services team looks after 89,000 rateable assessments, we are currently looking for someone who will enjoy learning and working in a fast paced, customer service focused environment.
This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has an excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a high activity role which requires competing priorities, with excellent interpersonal communication, phone, email and written skills will be well regarded, alongside a strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail.
Skills and experience required to perform this role
- Rates / finance / debt collection experience preferred
- Work experience in an entry level rates, revenue or customer services role is highly desirable but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal communication including phone and written communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- A strong commitment to customer service, including the ability to manager difficult customers.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- A good level of skill with computer operating systems.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
