About the role
A high level overview of key accountabilities for the Interim Manager Property Place and Design during this time:
- Lead and manage the following functions:
- Urban Design
- Property
- Place Activation
- Potentially some place revitalisation projects (excluding Coburg projects).
Manage workplans, budgets, corporate planning, and reporting associated with those functions, including overseeing the existing workplan and input into the development of the new Council Plan
Participate in and contribute to the work of the Senior Management Team.
People management of the teams within the branch, ensuring they continue to be engaged, supported and high performing.
Lead a strategic and service review of the Property Unit to develop a strategic property framework, role review, and staged implementation plan to deliver it.
Briefing and reporting to Executive and Councillors.
Developing and managing effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Anticipating and managing issues and risks effectively.
