About the role

 

As a crucial member of our Technology and Cyber Security team, you'll assist in various administrative functions across our portfolio. From managing budgets to assisting in driving process improvement initiatives, your role will contribute to the smooth operation of our Technology Team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including document management, record keeping, and correspondence.
  • Help manage budgets, forecasts, accruals & reporting for Capital and Operational costs, as well as assisting with general departmental budget queries as required.
  • Assist with Contract administration, including RFPs, variations and claims.
  • Assist with hardware and software procurement requirements and licence management.
  • Coordinate travel, site visits, and other arrangements for team members and project resources.
  • Assist with Vendor Management practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.

 

 Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • Certificate III in Business Administration (desirable).
  • Valid C class driver's license.
  • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or ability to obtain.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, with experience in Microsoft 365 preferred.
  • Previous experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP system advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Safety-conscious with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth.
