Wintringham is a specialist not-for-profit company providing an extensive range of aged care, housing and related support services to elderly men and women who come from a homeless background. With annual revenue of $51 million, we employ over 600 staff and operate from multiple offices in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Wintringham is a major provider of home care in Victoria, managing approximately 700 home care packages. Our regional team of Carer’s, Case Managers, Outreach Workers, Care & Support Workers and Recreation staff provide holistic care and support to clients who live independently in their own homes.
Wintringham is seeking a Casual Care and Support Worker to work across the Barwon Region region, assisting clients living in their own homes to maintain their independence and lifestyle of their choice by providing a high quality of care. In this role you will be helping our clients with a range of daily living tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning and shopping. You will have a non-judgmental attitude and the ability to liaise with people from varying socio-economic backgrounds.
We are looking for candidates with the following;
- A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Care
- Own reliable vehicle that is suitable to transport clients
- Current drivers licence
- Prior experience in Aged or Community Care
- Current CPR & First Aid
