Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a TWO Group Leaders to join the Gwydir Day Care and Preschool Team. As a Group Leader you will be required to be an active leader of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
Position 1 - Group Leader - Maternity Relief for up to 12 months:
- Temporary Full-Time – 38 hours per week
- Location - Moree
- Attractive salary ranging from $61,510 - $76,317 (depending on qualifications and experience) PLUS Superannuation
- Rostered day off every 3 weeks - an extra 17 days off a year!
- Salary packaging options.
The successful applicant will be required to have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care OR enrolled and working towards obtaining.

Position 2 - Group Leader - Full-Time Permanent Opportunity.
- Permanent Full-Time – 38 hours per week
- Location - Moree
- Attractive salary ranging from $61,510 - $76,317 (depending on qualifications and experience) PLUS Superannuation
- Rostered Day off every 3 weeks - an extra 17 days off a year!
- Salary Packaging options.
The successful applicant will be required to have at least a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care AND willing to study towards a Degree in Early Childhood and Care.
OR
Have successfully completed a Degree in Earl Childhood and Care.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Qualifications as stated above for each position.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.
- A current First Aid Certificate-Provide First Aid in an Education and Care setting - HLTAID012
- Prior experience working with young children with the demonstrated ability to relate in a positive and caring manner and meet the individual needs of children ranging in ages 8 weeks to 5 years.
- Effective supervisory and organisational skills.
