ABOUT THE ROLE

The Systems Manager will support the Manager Information Services, ensuring operational cohesiveness of core business databases. Responsibilities include:

  • Extracting and analysing data from system databases and recommending system enhancements. 
  • Consulting on financial system requirements and security configuration.
  • Assisting in process documentation and management.
  • Training staff on core systems software and other packages.
  • Evaluating and recommending new systems for the Council.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Hands-on experience with computer networks and network administration
  • High-level schema knowledge for data analysis
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise issues and tasks.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
  • Experience managing and leading technical staff.
SALARY AND BENEFITS

The salary for the Systems Manager position at Moree Plains Shire Council ranges from $96,587.40 up to $111,170.80, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
