Your Role at Dhiiyaan Aboriginal Centre

As the Customer Service Officer at the Dhiiyaan Aboriginal Centre you will play a crucial role in connecting with the community and promoting our beautiful cultural heritage. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the centre remains a welcoming space for all, providing top-notch customer service, and assisting with inquiries related to Aboriginal history, culture, and family research.

Your proactive approach will help encourage Aboriginal families to engage with the centre, fostering a sense of belonging and pride in our shared history. You will help us maintain a respectful environment that honours Aboriginal traditions and promotes cultural values.

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant experience. 
  • Experience working with Aboriginal people and communities.
  • Proven customer service and secretarial support experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for conflict resolution.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $56,617 up to $64,945
  • Long service leave after 5 years of employment.
  • Flexible working arrangements with a rostered day off every 3 weeks - an extra 17 days off a year!
