The Role
Our new Receptionists will:
- Manage day to day operations of the front desk and ensure the successful and effective running of the practice
- Prioritise communication, efficiency and accountability
- Enjoy a multitasking day and a diverse working week
This will ideally suit an experienced receptionist looking for a new opportunity. Based wholly on-site, the role is offered on a Part-Time basis and is available for an immediate start.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Manage the reception workflow, manage patient appointments, greet clients, take rebookings and payments and meet accreditation standards.
- Appointment scheduling
- Billing procedures
- Debt Collections
- Privacy and quality controls of patient files and notes
- Support Management team with reporting and ad hoc tasks
- Support a harmonious, cheerful and engaging practice environment
- Ensure all staff, patients and visitors follow Covid-19 health regulations
- Support and assist practitioners with:
- Diary changes and client management
- Manage client waitlists
- Telehealth appointments and platforms
- Ensure GP rooms are full equipped daily.
- Manage and support all nursing workflows
- Maintaining and ensuring accreditation standards
Requirements:
The successful applicant will have:
- Prior experience in medical reception
- Demonstrated people skills and experience with working and supporting staff training and development
- A thorough understanding of Medicare rebates
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong attention to detail
- A confident and professional approach to dealing with matters arising
- Experience of Practice Accreditation
- Ability to identify marketing and promotional ideas to enhance the service provided to patients
- Knowledge of Best Practice or similar programs (an advantage)
