Are you ready to do what you love? Join our team as the Marketing Coordinator at Artemus Group based at Howard Smith Wharves.

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for executing the marketing plan for the Artemus Group that includes Howard Smith Wharves precinct, select HSW hospitality venues, Story Bridge Adventure Climb and Manly Wharf.

This role will see you work closely with the Marketing Director, Marketing Manager and Brand Manager conceptualise and implement innovative marketing campaigns to drive patronage and revenue for Artemus hospitality businesses. At Artemus Group we have an ever-expanding portfolio of restaurants, bars and real estate, we are specialists at revitalising iconic waterfront precincts and transforming them into thriving community and cultural hubs.

Key responsibilities include:

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and Business Managers to develop and implement innovative campaigns driving revenue and patronage.
  • Maintain and manage marketing calendars and timelines.
  • Plan and execute marketing activations, events, and promotional campaigns (with a focus on digital).

Trade

  • Work closely with the Brand Manager and Activations to execute trade and supplier partnership activity for the relevant Artemus businesses.

Social Media

  • Work closely with the Brand Manager to drive the Artemus social media strategy, develop content plans for and maintain the Artemus social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to increase followers and engagement levels.

Digital Marketing

  • Maintain and update the venue websites regularly using website CMS system.
  • Schedule social content.
  • Manage and implement Hospitality email marketing campaigns.
  • Implement, maintain and update information on external online listings including HSW Hospitality venues.

Content & Collateral

  • Develop and maintain all Hospitality brand collateral.
  • Facilitate all Hospitality photoshoots.
  • Book all Hospitality advertising in accordance with the annual marketing plan.
  • Manage all Hospitality advertising enquires – respond and allocate as required.
  • Generate and respond to Hospitality sponsorships and collaboration opportunities.

Public Relations

  • Co-ordinate Artemus Hospitality PR campaigns and events in accordance with the PR plan.
  • Liaise and develop effective relationships with local media and digital influencers and ensure updates are provided on what’s happening at Howard Smith Wharves venues, in accordance with the PR plan.
  • Liaise with local businesses to drive cross promotional opportunities.

Communication & Administration

  • Liaise regularly with Venue GMs and Business Managers to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and materials.
  • Communicate campaign requirements across business units (e.g., reservations, POS).
  • Record and manage donations, prizes, and gift certificates.
  • Collect and analyse market data to identify new opportunities.

Financial

  • Manage Hospitality campaign budgets in accordance with the annual marketing budget.
  • Track and measure the success of marketing campaigns and report findings to the Marketing Director.
  • Partner Finance to ensure all Marketing financials are up to date, in order and maintained. 
  • Commit to a culture of financial responsibility, accountability, sustainability, and commercial and practical investment.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Marketing Degree with 4 years’ experience within the industry 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and In Design
  • Graphic Design skills and experience
  • Quality focus, problem solving, market knowledge
