Located at Howard Smith Wharves, Mr Percival’s takes inspiration from iconic European beach clubs with its very own unique Brisbane twist. You’ll feel like it’s summer all year-long, making it a must-visit for locals, interstate tourists and global tastemakers.  

As Bar Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the bar while working closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team. You’ll lead from the front, mentor and train staff, maintain product and service excellence, and ensure the bar operates smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and inspire the bar team to deliver exceptional service, every shift
• Drive cocktail and beverage standards, presentation, and consistency
• Maintain compliance with liquor licensing and responsible service standards
• Oversee stock control, ordering, inventory, and cost management
• Implement and monitor procedures to improve speed, quality, and efficiency
• Support and deliver memorable guest experiences, including VIP and event service
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and floor teams to ensure seamless operations

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender in premium dining or high-end bar environments
• Strong beverage knowledge — cocktails, wine, spirits and trends
• A creative approach to menu development and presentation
• Excellent leadership, communication and team-building skills
• A hands-on operator who leads with professionalism and positivity
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Current RSA and RMLV
