Located at Howard Smith Wharves, Mr Percival’s takes inspiration from iconic European beach clubs with its very own unique Brisbane twist. You’ll feel like it’s summer all year-long, making it a must-visit for locals, interstate tourists and global tastemakers.
As Host Manager, you’ll be the face of the venue, setting the tone from the moment guests arrive. You’ll lead a high-performing host team, manage reservations and guest flow, and ensure every guest experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop the host team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Oversee reservations, seating plans, and guest flow during high-volume service
- Act as the key point of contact for VIPs, events, and special requests
- Work closely with Venue Management and FOH leaders to optimise service delivery
- Maintain a polished, professional front-of-house presence at all times
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a Host, Reservations, or Guest Experience leadership role
- Experience working within a high volume premium establishment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Exceptional communication and people management skills
- A natural host with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods
