About the Opportunity

My Therapy Crew is looking for Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners based in South Brisbane (Mount Gravatt/Eight Mile Plains). With opportunities for both experienced practitioners and those with relevant qualifications, this role can be tailored to suit your current career stage.

This role focuses on delivering evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services to individuals with diverse needs, ensuring meaningful and sustainable improvements in their daily lives.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing behaviour support plans under the NDIS framework
  • Implementing person-centred strategies to improve quality of life and reduce restrictive practices
  • Providing training and capacity-building support for families, carers, and support staff
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, client-centred care
  • Delivering services in a combination of clinic, home, and community settings

About You

To qualify, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
  • Registration (or eligibility) as a PBS Practitioner under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and disabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Organisational and time management skills to handle caseloads and meet deadlines
