The Opportunity:

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the position of Maintenance Electrician at our brand-new bakery opening at the beginning of 2026 in Nambeelup, WA (12km from Mandurah and 60 km South of Perth).

Reporting to the Engineering Manager WA, the Maintenance Electrician will play a key part in the success of our new site by driving electrical and mechanical efficiencies, ensuring optimisation of equipment performance and production processes.

In this varied role you will manage installation, preventative and predicative maintenance, troubleshooting and attending to plant breakdowns ensuring machinery and equipment are operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of end-to-end processes and equipment performance on the line.
• Preventive maintenance on designated equipment.
• End of week shut down tasks and activities.
• Testing and calibration activities associated with the line and related process equipment.
• Identifies defects, corrective and preventative maintenance and engages in predictive analysis.
• Scopes and executes PLC programming and automation projects.
• Critical thinking and problem solving technical or electrical problems.
• Drives continuous improvement activities across the line.
• Adhere to and apply all site-specific Policies & Procedures, including, but not limited to GMP, Glass Handling, HACCP, WHS, Environmental, LOTO, Confined Space, Boiler Operation.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced qualified Electrician who is a do-er, results-driven and solution-oriented.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Electrical trade certificate and A Grade Electrical License.
• FMCG/Food or pharmaceutical manufacture work experience will be highly regarded.
• Sound Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Basic Computer Skills: Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Experience using MEX will be highly regarded.
• Basic Refrigeration knowledge.
• Competent using Siemens (PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, etc.) products.
• Competent following electrical schematic drawings.
• General understanding of pneumatics and Hydraulic.
• Understanding of the 3 phase and Single-Phase motor fault finding and maintenance.
• Effective Communication with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the role.
• ABB Robots, Allen-Bradely (PLC/HMI) and Ignition SCADA experience will be beneficial.
