Our Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) programs based at Kempsey & Port Macquarie are looking for unique people to join the team as they work along side our participants, supporting them to achieve their goals.

Your role as a Community Support Worker is critical in helping our participants to achieve success, often calling on you to use your innovation and flexibility to get the job done.

No two days are alike, but every day is rewarding! 

We have the following roles available:

1 x Full time Community Support Worker - Kempsey - fixed term to 30 June 2014.

1 x Full time Community Support Worker - Port Macquarie - fixed term to 30 June 2014.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Working with a case load of participants to achieve identified goals;
  • Providing individual support to participants;
  • Completing detailed notes on participant progress and achievements;
  • Contributing to team projects and reporting on program success.

 Our ideal person will have: 

  • A passion to help people;
  • Hands on work experience working with people with mental health issues;
  • Qualifications, or a willingness to study, in  Mental Health; and
  • A can do attitude and a professional approach to working as a part of a team.

As this role provides support to clients in their community, all our CSW’s must have a valid drivers licence and successfully complete a Australian Federal Police Check prior to commencing with us.
