The Opportunity
We are looking for a caring and passionate person to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships to enhance the facilitation of support to people in need. The position will work closely with key partners to develop Inner West Partners in Recovery (IWSPIR) as well as aiding in the transition to NDIS.
This is a full-time Max Term opportunity till 30th June 2017. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
You will report to the Partners in Recovery Manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate subcontractors and lead agency to improve referral pathways
- Promote a community-based recovery model and improve the coordination of support
- Aid PIR in the transition to NDIS via the coordination of working groups and providing training to key agencies
- Develop and deliver a PIR Consumer and Carer NDIS engagement and education strategy
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Accurate and timely reporting
Skill and Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated planning, time management, organisational and problem solving skills
- Technical literacy with proven ability to use Microsoft Office and systems for reporting
- Degree level in a human services or related field or diploma with substantial experience
- Minimum one year's experience supervising staff
- An in depth knowledge of NDIS will be highly regarded
- Change management and conflict resolution skills highly desirable
