About the Role:

Are you ready to take charge of the timely and efficient transportation and distribution of products across NSW? We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Distribution Manager to lead our NSW Distribution Centre based in Liverpool.

As the Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all management activities required for efficient product distribution. Your role will involve ensuring on-time deliveries within budgetary and customer guidelines while maintaining a strong focus on people, health, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct and motivate team members creating a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Develop a dynamic distribution infrastructure to support clients cost-effectively.
  • Identify and prioritize logistics needs, providing recommendations for efficient product distribution.
  • Direct planning and assignment of work for personnel and equipment optimization.
  • Conduct periodic route reviews to ensure timeliness, health, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage fleet, maintenance, fuel, and purchase orders effectively.

 About You:

We are looking for a proactive leader with a passion for logistics and distribution, a do-er who thrives in a dynamic environment where quality and customer satisfaction are paramount.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • 3+ years' experience in logistics & distribution management.
  • Ability to support multiple projects, make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to rapidly learn new systems.
  • Strong people management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • The ability to make sound decisions under pressure, adapt to various situations and work effectively in a team environment
  • Great communications skills, with ability to adjust communication style to wide audiences.
