Our 400 employees look after 71,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands, and a bustling CBD (Central Business Districts).

Information Technology in North Sydney Council aims to ensure the efficient planning, implementation, and application of information technology to support the Council’s service delivery, in line with the North Sydney Council Community Strategic Plan.

We are looking for a IT Systems Support Officer within the Information Technology team. You will be handling 2/3 level support calls, managing the helpdesk, reviewing current processes and systems and identifying changes that lead to business improvements and business value.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, communication skills and strong time management skills. 

 

Essential
  • Provision of general IT support deliverables with strong quality service skills and focus.
  • Experience handling, maintaining and upgrading IT hardware.
  • Experience supporting general desktop applications.
  • Experience deploying, administering Windows desktop software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and O365 Admin Centre
  • Experience configuring iPad, iPhone and Android systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams administration
  • Demonstrated planning, prioritising and organising skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Liaison and communications skills.
Desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM
  • Experience using Skype for Business PBX systems.
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell commands
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent.

Salary from $74,919 to $89,457 per annum + 11% superannuation  + $1,000 pa transport allowance
