We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to head our Paid Parking department. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fostering a supportive and high-performing culture. You will lead a dedicated team focused on improving the quality of life in our community through effective traffic and transport operations.
The role
As the Team Leader Paid Parking, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and coordination of the Paid Parking team within our Traffic & Transport Operations Service Unit. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of our parking facilities and services across the North Sydney area.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Paid Parking Team, promoting a culture of support and high performance.
- Oversee the business operations of Council’s parking stations and on-street meter parking network, aligning with Council’s objectives and values.
- Develop and implement processes and strategies to optimise on-street and off-street parking operations.
- Manage and report on budgets for operational and capital expenditures related to external consultants, staffing, and project planning.
- Administer parking station and parking meter contracts effectively.
- Drive the development and implementation of transport policies, strategies, and advocacy initiatives for North Sydney Council.

Salary Range: $107,336 to $128,169 per annum + 11.5% super+ $1,000 pa transport allowance
35 hours per week with access to flexi time
