The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised individual to join our administration support team as an Infringement and Impoundment Administration Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving all unattended vehicle notifications in line with the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act 2021 and the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Regulation 2022. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational integrity by ensuring the efficient and compliant processing of infringements and impoundment activities within our Ranger and Parking Services Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unattended Vehicle Notifications: Attend to and resolve all unattended vehicle notifications according to established operational processes and the legislative requirements of the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act 2021 and the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Regulation 2022.
- Access Transport for NSW Databases: Access and retrieve information from restricted Transport for NSW databases, ensuring proper confidentiality protocols are followed. Use the information to support the issuance of non-motor vehicle infringements.
- Penalty Notice Issuance: Oversee the mailing of all penalty notices related to unattended vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
- Impoundment Oversight: Manage the Council’s impound bay operations, including overseeing the registration, security, and processing of impounded vehicles and items. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the associated impoundment database.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all procedures are conducted in full compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and operational guidelines. Prepare and submit regular reports as required.

Salary from: $75,283 to $89,892 + 11.5% superannuation + $1,000 pa Transport allowance
35 hours per week with access to flexi time
