Horticulturalist - Playgrounds Officer

We currently have an internal opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Horticulturalist to step into the role of Playgrounds Officer within our hardworking Parks and Gardens team.

The Playgrounds Officer is responsible for the provision of playground equipment and associated playground garden areas within the North Sydney Council area to ensure equipment and surrounding areas meet the required specifications and current Australian Standards.

We're looking for someone with horticulture qualifications and hands‑on experience who’s proactive, full of initiative, and doesn’t mind diving into the practical work. 

Your base of operations will be the Parks & Gardens depot located within St Leonards Park, providing convenient access to all assigned sites within the North Sydney area .

 

Salary from: $75,283 to $89,892 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + $1,000 pa transport allowance + Uniform Provided

76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off
