The role
An exciting opportunity is now available for a strong administrator in the position of Executive Assistant. Reporting to the Executive Officer, you will provide high quality administrative support to the office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Mayor.
You will deliver a range of executive level support services, including but not limited to:
- Provide confidential and discreet administrative support to the Office of the Chief Executive Officer & Mayor, ensuring efficient management of correspondence, diary scheduling, and meeting coordination.
- Represent the Office of the CEO and Mayor in a professional manner, draft correspondence, and ensure the Mayor is prepared for media interviews and public appearances.
- Record and resolve complaints through research and consultation with Council staff, ensuring all complaints are acted upon in accordance with Council’s Complaints Policy.
- Build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the office of the CEO and will operate with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion when executing duties and liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key part in promoting an engaged culture and identifying opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement across Council.

Salary Range: $82,263 to $98,226 per annum + $1,000 pa Transport allowance + 12% superannuation
35 hours per week with access to Flex time (flexibility will be considered for the right candidate)
