The role
We are seeking a digital star with technical skills, creativity and vision to help shape digital preservation and presentation of our unique Heritage Collections. We’re looking for someone who is excited to play a key role in enhancing the rich digital data relating to the local heritage we care for.
In this role, you will identify, develop and implement digitisation and digital asset management projects to increase customer access to historical resources, and oversee digital asset management systems and processes to manage and preserve digital data.
The person
You are a highly organised and technically skilled professional with experience in digitisation, digital collections, archives, libraries or cultural heritage environments. Passionate about improving access to historical collections, you combine strong project management and digital preservation expertise with excellent communication and customer service skills. You are confident working with digital asset management systems and emerging technologies, enjoy solving problems and improving processes, and can work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and the community.
A keen eye for detail, commitment to best practice, and enthusiasm for preserving and sharing local history will see you thrive in this role.

Hourly rate from: $47.01 to $56.13 per hour + transport allowance + 12% superannuation
